Rochester Baseball Historical Society board member Scott Pitoniak joined an elite group of Rochester Baseball icons on Saturday August 17th as he was inducted into the Rochester Red Wings Hall of Fame. Pitoniak, honored for his many years of contributions as a writer for the Democrat & Chronicle newspaper and as an author of numerous books, joined Mike Mussina, Jim Hutto and John Ganzel as the most recent inductees into Rochester Baseball’s inner circle.
The Rochester Baseball Historical Society offers Scott our most sincere congratulations on this and all of his accomplishments related to baseball in Rochester. Scott is an invaluable resource to the Greater Rochester sports community and this well deserved recognition is a testament to his lasting contributions to Rochester baseball.
